How to draw a modern house. How to draw a fairytale house

  • 16.04.2019

A house is an architectural structure, so when drawing it step by step, you first need to build a general drawing of the house, and only then start “building” and adding other parts of the house to the picture. When drawing a house, you can’t do without a ruler, and, of course, a pencil. The house should look symmetrical, so you need to accurately mark the dimensions of height, width, etc. using a ruler.
The house can be depicted in different ways, for example, by making a roof out of tiles, drawing double doors, or adding a fireplace chimney lined with bricks. Draw these “little things” according to your wishes, but any house must have a foundation, walls, a roof and doors with windows. If you follow these rules, then the lesson how to draw a house it will be very easy for you.

1. General drawing of the house

To create a house drawing, first draw a rectangle. Measure out more than half the space inside it and draw a vertical line at this point. It will divide the house into two parts, an entrance hall and a living room. The purpose of this lesson is to learn to see the proportions of the house, you don’t have to copy my drawing, you can choose a different house layout for your drawing.

2. Contours of roof and doors

Inside the left half of the house, draw, in the middle of the roof line, the point of its apex. From the end of the right line, draw a horizontal line all the way to the end of the house itself, it will separate the roof from the walls. On the right side of the picture, draw a rectangle for the future door.

3. How to draw windows

You see that when drawing a house step by step, using a ruler, everything turns out quickly and smoothly. And as soon as you draw the windows and foundation, the picture of the house will be almost ready. At the bottom of the picture, draw a line for the foundation; any house must have one. Outline the contours of the roof with additional parallel lines. In the living room, draw two rectangles for the windows.

4. Add more details to the house drawing

Now you need to slightly “cut” the roof on both sides, making a slight slope for it. Rarely are the roofs of houses straight; builders always try to give them an interesting, unusual shape. “Cut” the roof with diagonal lines in two places. Outline the windows and door with additional contour lines. At the bottom of the house, add another plane for its bottom. Near the vertical dividing line, draw a rectangle with a small other rectangle on top, this shape will serve as a chimney. Draw a line connecting the roof and the wall on the left side under the roof.

5. How to draw a house. The final stage

Use a pencil to draw parallel lines to the roof face to create the effect of laid out boards. Draw lintels in the windows. Draw the doorway from two halves. Draw a threshold at the bottom of the entrance. “Make” the foundation out of brick, dividing general outline on cells. The roof also needs to be decorated. The best way to do this is to draw the details of the tiles. You'll have to work a little harder, but house drawing it will be more beautiful. The chimney will also be made of brick.

6. Color picture of the house

When drawing a house, you can’t do without the surrounding landscape, consisting of trees, grass, blue sky, bright yellow color sun, pets, people, etc. Be sure to color the picture of the house at your discretion with colored pencils or paints.

Drawing a house or a castle is a good lesson for learning to draw. Ordinary with a simple pencil Step by step you will learn to draw the proportions of a building, create a perspective for the landscape surrounding the house, and learn to add volume to the walls using shadows and lines.

Trees quite often become the subject of children's drawings. After all, what would a drawing of a house be without trees? But a tree is not as easy to draw as it seems, so it is better for novice artists to draw a tree in stages and first with a simple pencil.

It’s beautiful when trees grow near the house and flower beds are laid out. When drawing a house, be sure to draw flowers nearby.

First of all, some tips on drawing techniques. Some people have a habit of drawing with broken lines and sometimes tracing them. Try to learn how to draw lines in one motion, don't be afraid to make mistakes.

A favorite cat at home on the sofa, a cat in boots from a favorite fairy tale or a favorite cat often become characters in children's drawings. In addition, such pictures can be a good decoration for a child’s room. But in order to draw a cat correctly, let's learn a little.

Saint Bernard is a bad guard at home, but a reliable friend. He will not bark assiduously at a stranger who comes into the house, but he will save a person covered by an avalanche. In this lesson we will learn how to draw a St. Bernard dog with a pencil step by step.

Hello everyone interested in my ! Today we have a very interesting lesson, which I think everyone will like and find useful! But first you should subscribe to VKontakte community, so you can share your work, get tips and new lessons!

Let's take a look at where we are now on our thirty day journey. You have mastered the art of drawing, and most importantly, you have learned to use a directional compass (I talked about it in detail in the cubes lesson). Now you'll use these skills to draw even more real objects. In this chapter you will learn how to start drawing a house, then you will draw a mailbox.

1. Draw a cube using a very, very light pencil pressure.

2. Place an anchor point in the middle of the bottom right side of the cube.

3. Draw a very light vertical line upward from this point. This will be our guide line for creating the roof of the house.

4. Connect the front roof slopes. Note that the near slope is longer than the other side. This is a great example of how size and placement add depth to a design. The near part of the roof is longer to make it appear larger and give the illusion that it is closer to the viewer.

5. Using the lines you've already drawn as a guide, draw the top of the roof, being careful not to lift the line too high (like here):

This is a problem for many newbies. To avoid this, consciously and deliberately return to your first line drawn in the northwest direction.

6. Draw the far side of the roof by matching the slope to the front edge. When I draw houses, I find that if the far edge of the roof is sloped a little less than the near one, it looks more realistic.

This is just a quick look at the two-perspective perspective. In the future we will get acquainted with the law of perspective in more detail. I just want to whet your appetite for new drawing challenges!

See how funny it is to see a house aligned along the compass directions of northwest and northeast and see how these lines merge at a vanishing point on each side of the property. In fact, you have already effectively used this advanced science of two-perspective perspective without even knowing it! How? When? You ask…

But I type on my laptop, having absolutely no idea how it actually works. You can also drive safely without understanding how the engine works. Likewise, you can (and should!) successfully learn to draw basic shapes without understanding all the laws and rules. I'm not saying you shouldn't learn the basics of perspective in drawing, because you should, and you will in the following lessons. But immediately introducing excessive, tedious information can greatly hinder or completely block the pleasure of drawing the initial basics for beginners. When newbies are overloaded with information, they become anxious and naturally become upset. They experience failure and accept the completely false assumption that they have no talent and therefore have no opportunity to learn how to draw. The truth is that learning to draw has nothing to do with talent. You have experienced this yourself as you have completed these lessons.

The best way to introduce students to the thrill of 3D drawing is by first offering IMMEDIATE success. Immediate success creates excitement, enthusiasm and interest. More interest comes with more practice. More practice builds CONFIDENCE. And confidence perpetuates the student’s desire to learn more and more. I call this the “self-perpetuating learning cycle.”

We have seen in all the previous lessons that drawing is absolutely a trainable skill. Additionally, learning how to draw can dramatically increase your communication skills, which in turn can have an extraordinary impact on your life.

7. Draw a horizon line above the house and position the light source. Clean up your drawing by erasing the guide lines.

8. Using the already drawn lines in the NW direction as a guide, lightly apply the frame for the shingles. Draw a guide line to the SW on the ground to add a drop shadow. Apply shadows along the base of the roof. The closer you get to the roof, the darker you draw a line along it, pushing it deeper into the picture.

9. Complete a simple house with roof tiles, making the closest tiles larger and making them smaller as you move away. Draw a window, making sure that the lines are parallel to the edges of the paper. Same thing with the door. Draw the vertical lines of the door to match the vertical lines of the center and right side of the house. You can paint on it additional details, for example, in the form of bushes.

10. Add slopes on the window and door. Finish the drawing with shading. Great job! You drew a cute little house in the steppe.

LESSON 12: PRACTICAL TASK

Understanding how basic shapes such as a cube or sphere can become objects real world– this is the main purpose of this book. Look at the picture of the mailbox. Try drawing this box yourself. Start by turning the cube into a mailbox. Next, form the front of the drawer on the right and left. Again, notice that the near edge of the drawer is longer. This is another example of how size creates depth. Draw the post and details of the box. See how the dark shadow pushes the post under the box. Complete your mailbox by adding other details. These little details - the postal flag, the pen, the address and especially the wood texture - complete this drawing perfectly. Texture adds visual sensation to the surface of objects: fur on a cat, cobblestones on the street, scales on a fish. Texture is a delicious “flavor” that adds flair to your drawing.

Don't forget to show off your work on

Russian hut, hut, house in the village, natural landscape with image wooden houses- a subject of inspiration for many artists. A Russian hut is easy to depict by drawing simple lines and geometric shapes, so a child can draw it. And if you add more realistic details, shadows and perspective, you can create a real masterpiece. In this lesson we will learn how to draw a Russian hut outside and inside with all its components. So, let's begin!

Hut outside

First, we will learn how to draw a Russian hut from the outside step by step. For clarity, each new detail in the image will be highlighted in red. You can do all the work with a simple pencil.

Stage 1
Let's draw general outline future home. Two inclined lines at the top are the roof, and three lines are the bases and walls of the house.

To make it symmetrical, draw a vertical line passing through the top of the roof and the middle of the base of the house. Next, build lines to the right and left relative to the center one.

Stage 2
Now let's move on to the roof indicated above in red. Let's draw the lines as shown in the figure.

Stage 3
Every house has a foundation on which the rest of the structure stands. Let's draw the base in the form of a rectangle.

Stage 4
To make it clear that the house is made of logs, let’s draw circles located one above the other near the right and left walls.

Stage 5
Traditionally, one or two windows are drawn in the image of a house. And as we look at the house from the front, we see the third attic window, pointed at the top according to the shape of the roof.

Stage 6
Let's draw the shutters in the shape of rectangles and add the attic windows, as shown in the image below.

Stage 7
Let's finish drawing the two main windows. Drawing windows will be described in detail later in this lesson.

Stage 8
The windows in the Russian hut were decorated decoratively. They painted flowers on the shutters and nailed down patterns carved from wood. Let's draw decorative planks above the windows, as shown in the figure. And, of course, what would a hut be without a chimney? Let’s draw a chimney.

Stage 9
Let's depict the plank and stone surface of the house.

The house is ready! Looks interesting.

Draw with a pencil

Drawing with a pencil has its own techniques, so in this part of the lesson we will separately look at how to draw a Russian hut with a pencil. Use the basics of construction from the first part of the lesson, add details from your imagination, change their places, the main thing here is to draw a house with a pencil.

Draw the general outlines of the house with a thin line.

We outline the roof lines as shown in the figure. You can put more pressure on the pencil, or superimpose some strokes on others.

It is better to trace at the end of the drawing, in case you have to erase with an eraser.

Draw windows and logs on top of the wall line.

We draw the details: shutters, pipes, boards and carvings on the cut of the logs.

The surface of the logs has a rounded shape, so a shadow is formed at the junction between them. Let's depict the shadow with light shading.

A glare forms on the protruding part of the logs - this place should remain light. Let's paint over the turns of the logs so that the shading is slightly lighter than the shadow area. This will give you the volume.

Now let's complete the drawing. Using the same principle as shown above, we will depict chiaroscuro on the windows, roof, pipe and other details that will be in your drawing. Using strokes we will depict the sky and grass - the closer it is to the viewer, the thinner the grass will be, and vice versa. You can experiment, the main thing is that the lines are light and confident.

Decoration of a Russian hut

In this part of the lesson we will learn how to draw the inside of a Russian hut.

We create perspective. We draw 2 rectangles - one inside the other, and connect the corners, as shown in the figure. The size and location of the rectangles depends on what kind of room we want to get in the end.

We arrange objects. In a Russian hut we see a stove, a bench, shelves for dishes and other things, a cradle, a spindle and an icon. To correctly place objects in perspective, you need to draw lines parallel to the main ones shown above. It's not difficult, the main thing is to draw the lines evenly and imagine what it will look like as a result.

Add light and shade to the finished room. Let's imagine where the light comes from and which surface will remain light. Let's see in what places the shadow from objects will fall. To show the wooden surface inside the house, we depict the relief of the board using the shadow.

Red corner

The red corner in a Russian hut is a place with an icon table and a bench. Let's see how to draw the red corner of a Russian hut.

Draw the room in perspective, as shown above. Add a table and bench to the room.

In the corner of the room, closer to the ceiling, draw a rectangle - this will be an icon. We draw an arc from the bottom of the rectangle, draw a circle on top and paint the background around them. We draw a shelf for the icon. If desired, you can draw the icon in more detail.

Bake

It remains to consider in detail how to draw a Russian stove in a hut and windows. Let's draw a stove.

We draw a stove according to the laws of perspective described above.

Drawing a stove with small details.

Professional drawing.

Window

In conclusion, let’s see how you can draw the window of a Russian hut.

The carving on the windows can be a pattern or any other image. Can be part of the shutter, or attached separately.

The carving can be made in volume, projection, or flat.

For a window design, you can take into account the time of year in order to depict patterns similar to the weather on the shutters, patterns on the glass from frost, if, for example, it is winter. You can combine the design with the finished carving.

Today our children are learning creative activities, they barely begin to walk confidently. First we buy them colored pencils, markers, etc. But when it comes time to learn letters and first awkwardly try to write them, the ability to draw an outline becomes as important as knowing and recognizing colors.

In order for a child to understand what contours are, you need to teach him to draw with a simple pencil. For example, children's favorite plot is a village house. Such a concept as perspective can be omitted; as they grow up, they will figure it out. They can color their “creation” at any time, but first they need to create it together outline image. This article will tell you how to use a pencil step by step.

So, how to draw a wooden house? You will need pencils, paper, an eraser and your patience.

Drawing the walls and roof

The drawing must begin with the outline of elementary geometric shapes. The first step will be to draw a square, to which we will “attach” the walls and roof. Draw a triangle on top of it. What it will be, isosceles or another, is not so important. And already at this first stage the child recognizes the house, the same one that he has seen many times.

Perspective

Now let's create something similar to perspective. We continue to teach the child this step by step with a pencil. We take the second step - we “attach” another square next to the first one. But on top we no longer draw a triangle, as in the previous case, but a parallelogram. The child may not understand the meaning of this artistic “effect”. You will need to clearly explain how to draw vertical lines and connect them to create a “side view”. Believe me, children grasp such nuances very quickly. A window remains, which is square in shape. In addition to the fact that you are drawing, you can also have a very meaningful and educational conversation about squares, triangles and rectangles, which will be very memorable.

Creating volume

Pencil step by step and hold, at least for a short time, the child’s attention? At the third stage, we begin to decorate our house. We draw doors that have the shape of a rectangle. We will have a chimney on the roof. Because the young artist asked about how to draw a wooden house; we will paint one wall with a window with stripes imitating boards. Thanks to this, we will get the illusion of volume.

We imitate roof tiles

Now, at the fourth stage, we put the initiative in the hands of the child. Let him draw the tiles himself. It doesn’t matter what the roof will look like, “fish scales” or “squares”. The main thing is to carefully “fit” the pattern without going beyond the boundaries of the contour. Dormer window above front door also an important element, it is oval.

Drawing a fence and bushes

You should think in advance about how to draw a house with a pencil step by step, paying attention to the development of the child’s imagination. To do this you will have to apply all your own Creative skills. Your house is almost ready! Now, at the fifth stage, all that remains is to improve the area around it. We draw a fence and bushes behind the house.

You probably won't find a child who doesn't like to draw. Creative activities allow children to relax and express their dreams. It is much more interesting if such a process occurs together with parents. Quite often they ask how to draw a house so that it becomes for the child a real embodiment of family hearth and kindness.

Drawing a wooden structure

If a family lives in a city, then they only see stone buildings. Wooden structures, which are most often found in villages, are especially attractive.

How to draw a house step by step so that your child likes it and is realistic? The following sequence must be followed:

  • You need to take a sheet of paper and draw a line in a horizontal direction with a simple pencil. Then you need to draw a vertical stripe. This will become the future corner of the house.
  • Next you should move on to the image of the side wall. Its parts must intersect at the same point.
  • After this, you need to start applying the facades, where the walls should be connected in one place.
  • Now you need to draw the elements of the roof, depict the foundation, logs and top of the roof.

  • If desired, you can add windows and a door. The drawing can be left in black and white, shaded with a simple pencil.

You can also add trees or other landscape of your choice to the house. Here the child will be able to use his imagination. In conclusion creative process you need to erase the extra lines and decorate the structure at your discretion. The result will be amazing house, the image of which can be hung in a frame or on the refrigerator.

Drawing of a house with several floors

How to draw a house that consists of several floors or, in other words, an apartment building? There is nothing difficult here either, if parents help their baby. First you need to draw a vertical “accordion”, or inverted steps. Then you need to draw the windows that are in the center of the accordion. There should be 3-4 such openings, depending on the height of the picture. On the side images you need to add curved lines that will serve as balconies. A door should be depicted below. It can be different, it depends on personal preferences.

At the next stage, you need to add volume to the house and remove unnecessary lines. But the most enjoyable process is coloring the resulting drawing. For this you will need colored pencils. The walls need to be yellow or Brown, the windows can be made in a blue tint, and different landscapes can be added.

House drawings for little ones

It is very important to teach the youngest children how to draw a house. Such children can be offered the following option:

  • First you need to draw a rectangle, with a triangle on top. These figures will serve as the facade and roof. You can use a ruler for this process.
  • Then you need to draw another triangle in the larger shape. On the left side of the roof you need to draw a pipe.
  • At the next stage, it is recommended to draw horizontal lines on the roof. This process can also be done using a ruler and a simple pencil.
  • Then you need to draw windows (usually two of them are drawn) and a door, which is located in the middle of the square base. You can also add a step at the bottom.
  • Next you need to move on to small details(window sills, bell, etc.).

When all the elements have been drawn, the child is allowed to move on to coloring the house. Here you can use your imagination and creative thinking.

If you know how to draw a house with a pencil step by step, you can teach your child to quickly and easily draw any structure. This will not only be an excellent developmental activity, but can also take first place in the joint leisure time of children and parents.
