Drawing on the theme of late autumn. Autumn landscape with children: step-by-step drawing

  • 24.04.2019

This is the first lesson in the series about the seasons. I will tell you how to draw autumn with a pencil step by step. At first I couldn’t understand for a long time: what should be depicted in the autumn drawing?? What immediately comes to mind? That’s right: an alley with benches, and everything is orange and yellow, and the breeze is blowing, but it’s warm outside, and there’s still a piece of sky in the corner. And it could also be a forest, there are different animals there: gophers, . Less often people imagine a rainy autumn. It's getting closer to winter. But how can I draw autumn with simple pencils? After all, this is the whole point, to show how the flocks change color and fall, fly away migratory birds, even wandering along the edges of the fields. Maybe there will be talented artist who can convey all this through the play of light and shadow a simple pencil. And I decided to color my drawing! But first, as usual, there will be step by step instructions. Grab your pencils and let's get down to business.

How to draw autumn with a pencil step by step

Step one. Let's draw a sketch. The match man sits on a stump. Near it we will mark the body of the squirrel in circles. In the background we draw the shape of the trees and the bridge. I think there will be no difficulties with this; all children can draw such doodles. But let's move on!
Step two. Now let's outline the contours of the girl's body and her hairstyle. Let's add another hat. A squirrel sits nearby. Let's also outline the contours of her fluffy fur.
Step three. Now let's move on to detail. Let's mark the place where the girl's eyes and lips are located, and draw her fingers. Then a few more details of the dress. Next to it we will draw a bag with apples. And we'll give the squirrel another apple, she deserves it. In the background we will draw a path and a bridge over the river. And then we will draw the trunks and crowns of the trees.
Step four. Let's erase the auxiliary lines drawn in the previous steps. Let's outline the contours of the main objects more clearly.
Step five. Just a couple of little things left to add. Let's draw the girl's hairstyle, eyes and mouth. We detail the dress and shoes. We imitate leaves on the trees (I didn’t draw them in detail, you can do this yourself if you want). We depict the grass simply with strokes. We will do the same strokes, only less often on tree trunks and stumps, this will create a realistic effect. Don't forget about the squirrel too! And it should look like this:
Step six. Now let's move on to coloring. I drew everything in Photoshop, so I decorated it there too. I filmed the entire process. Those who know how to use graphic editors can also decorate. I hope I've covered it in sufficient detail how to draw autumn, and now in class visual arts you can surprise everyone with an original drawing! I ended up with this autumn drawing: What is yours? Attach your work below in the comments. Try taking some more lessons like this.

Drawing. Golden autumn landscape step by step with photos.

Drawing a golden autumn landscape for children 7-9 years old. Master class with step by step photos.

Yakovleva Natalya Anatolevna
Place of work: MAOU secondary school 73 "Lira"
Description: this master class will be useful for art teachers, as well as creative people and parents
Purpose: Use in drawing classes, interior decoration or as a gift.
Target: performance autumn landscape
Tasks:
- improve skills in working with gouache and watercolor
- introduce the technique of working with a palette knife and a plastic card
- promote the development of creative abilities
- develop a sense of composition, the ability to notice and reflect the beauty of nature in a drawing
- cultivate interest in landscape painting and accuracy in work
Materials: gouache, watercolor, watercolor paper, brushes, palette knife, plastic card

Dear Colleagues! I present to your attention another master class on drawing an autumn landscape. This time it is designed for children 7-9 years old, using a palette knife and a plastic card

Execution sequence:

We place the sheet horizontally. We start by covering the sky background with watercolor approximately above the middle of the sheet.

Next, fill the background of the water from light to dark, leaving the bottom of the sheet under the background for the earth

We tint the background of the earth using shades of yellow, ocher, brown, green

We begin to “scratch” blades of grass with a plastic card. At this stage it is very important that the paper remains damp so that they darken later. If it dries out enough, the blades of grass will be white.

We draw mountains on the border between sky and water

Apply white gouache to the tops of the mountains with a palette knife. Instead of a palette knife, you can use a modeling knife - stack

Next we draw everything with gouache. We start from the distant forest. We draw it with strokes of red, yellow, flowers

At the base of the distant forest, using light ocher, with the addition of dark brown, we draw the land of the far shore

Using a plastic card or a thin brush, we draw the tree trunks of the distant forest

In the foreground we draw birch tree trunks.

Using a dark green thin brush, paint Christmas trees

Using a semi-dry brush using the “poke” method, we paint the crown of birch trees. To convey the impression of “golden” foliage, you need to add white to the light yellow paint.

This is how it should turn out.

Finish drawing the bush and fallen leaves

You can have your work framed

Below I present to your attention the work of children aged 7-9 years. Everyone had their own golden autumn!

Autumn is a magnificent time of year. When else will you see such a riot of colors? The trees are dressed in gilded clothes. The maples drop their crimson carved leaves. Red rowan and rosehip berries are added bright accents. All this is flooded with sunlight and framed by heavenly blue.

It’s not for nothing that many artists loved to depict this time of year on their canvases. Sometimes, admiring a magnificent landscape, you want to be like them and grab a brush. golden autumn? Let's talk about it.

Preparing for work: what to consider?

How to draw a golden autumn so that the picture looks as believable as possible? Of course, from nature. No one better than Mother Nature can tell us what paints to use and how to create a composition.

Having found a beautiful panorama, consider it with different sides. Try to squat down, climb up a hill, looking for best view. It’s good if the picture has several plans: close, middle, long. For example, in the foreground there is a multi-colored tree, a little further away there is a river, and near the horizon there is a strip of forest. This will give the drawing volume and make it more interesting.

It is not necessary to draw all the trees and rocks. Highlight the most important thing in the landscape. What elements will help convey the essence of the picture? For example, interesting game light and shadow, an unusual combination of crimson leaves and blue sky, the feeling of a sunny September afternoon? What can you do without? Highlight the main subject that will attract the viewer's attention. For example, a tree or bush. The rest will be the background, emphasizing and beautifully complementing it.

Making a sketch

How to draw All you need to start is a simple pencil and a landscape sheet. Let's make a sketch by putting it on paper thin lines and spots selected elements of the landscape. First of all, we draw the horizon. This will help you position other objects correctly on the paper.

Then we outline the configuration of the land: hills, lowlands, banks of a river or lake. Drawing the foreground. We denote tree trunks schematically, as well as crowns. Just sticks with branches. If desired, you can shade them, remembering the play of chiaroscuro. Later, objects located at a distance are outlined.

Be sure to keep in mind that they should decrease as they approach the horizon. If there is a river or a path running into the distance in the picture, mark the point to which it will lead and draw two lines. Keep in mind that an artist, just like a writer, has the right to invention. You can remove or add any details as you wish if it makes the composition more interesting.

How to draw golden autumn with pencils?

By using gray you can depict the contours of objects and give them volume through the play of chiaroscuro. But how can a riot of colors, their transitions and combinations be reflected in a painting? One of the most simple ways- colour pencils. They have been familiar to us since childhood, but do we know how to use them? Just in case, let's recall the basic rules.

  • The harder you press the pencil, the darker the color. To achieve an airy effect, light pressure is enough.
  • It is very important what strokes you use. Thus, straight lines convey direction, wavy lines convey a sense of movement.
  • By applying some strokes on top of others, you can get darker tones.
  • To obtain new shades, apply one color to another. You can do this repeatedly. For example, first outline the crown with yellow strokes, then add brown, crimson and green accents. And at the end, apply lemon over the entire surface.

How to beautifully paint golden autumn with paints?

You can create transparent, light-filled paintings using watercolors. Let's use the filling technique. To do this, a sheet of paper is moistened with water, and paints are applied to a damp base. This results in soft, blurry transitions.

The sky is written using blue and purple paint. The closer to the horizon line, the lighter the tones. You can create clouds by darkening the colors around them and slightly blurring the edges. The earth is depicted in dim brown and yellow colors. In the foreground the shades are richer, in the background they are lighter.

The autumn forest is indicated predominantly by yellow and orange flowers. For now we are just sketching out the general background, drawing it from life. We take the paint carefully, drop by drop, and dilute it generously with water. Don't be afraid to mix shades directly on paper; if you make a mistake, they can be easily washed off.

Drawing details

How to draw golden autumn in the foreground of a painting? This requires clearer lines and more saturated colors. To get them, first dry the paper with the background applied to it. Then we get to work.

Tree trunks are drawn from bottom to top. To add volume, we designate the shadows by mixing brown and black colors. The play of shades in the crowns can be conveyed using warm, bright tones, which are applied in separate strokes. Don't forget that trees cast shadows on the ground. Using red and burgundy colors you can enliven the forest or bushes located in the background.

When everything is dry, use a thin brush to add the finishing touches - withered grass, thin twigs, individual falling leaves.

Working with gouache

In addition to watercolors, there are other paints with which you can create bright, rich landscapes. How to draw golden autumn with gouache? First of all, you should remember a few rules:

  • Gouache cannot be washed away with water or rubbed like watercolor until it dries completely.
  • Apply it in a thin layer. The colors can be mixed while they are still wet.
  • First, the paint is applied horizontally, and then vertical strokes are added.
  • After drying, the color of the paint may become lighter or darker. It is better to check this point in advance on the palette.

The drawing should start from the background. Moreover, the dark fragments of the landscape are indicated first. Then - lighter ones. To do this, white gouache is mixed into the paint. The background generally requires three primary colors: blue sky, brown earth, orange or yellow autumn forest. Once the background is dry, you can move on to the details.

Foliage is depicted in small strokes. To do this, take orange and yellow colors, ocher The trunks are drawn with a thin brush. The shadow can be conveyed by mixing purple into the base paint. It is better not to use black color for these purposes - it will turn out dirty. At the end, details are added: thin blades of grass, twigs, highlights.

Now you know how to draw a golden autumn from life. A little imagination, diligence, and the picture is ready. You can decorate your home with it or give it to your loved ones as a gift.

What is the most remarkable thing in autumn? Certainly, autumn leaves! In autumn, the leaves are not green, like in summer, but bright, multi-colored. Leaves on trees, bushes, fallen and lying on roads, on paths, on grass... Yellow, red, orange... At this time of year, even if you are not a photographer or an artist, you just want to pick up a camera or a brush with colors to capture this wonderful time of year in all its glory.

Autumn drawings. Drawing autumn

Method 1.

Under a sheet of regular printer paper, place the sheet with the veins facing up, then shade it with a wax crayon placed flat. You will see how the design of a leaf with all the smallest veins appears on the paper.

To add a little magic, you just need to take a white crayon and run it over the white paper, and then let your child paint the paper with a sponge. See link>>>>

By the way, there is interesting way coloring using colored corrugated paper. You must first draw leaves on paper in exactly the same way with white wax crayon. After this, tear corrugated paper into small pieces autumn flowers(red, yellow, orange, brown) and, thoroughly wetting each piece in water, stick them on the drawing. Make sure that there are no two pieces of paper of the same color nearby. Let the paper dry a little (but not completely!), then remove it from the drawing. You will get a wonderful multi-colored background. Leave the work to dry completely, then put it under the press.

Method 2.

You can make an interesting autumn craft if you place the leaf under thin foil. The foil should be placed with the shiny side up. After this, you need to carefully smooth the foil with your fingertips so that the design appears. Next you need to cover it with a layer of black paint (this can be gouache, ink, tempera). Once the paint is dry, very gently scrub the painting with a steel wool pad. The protruding veins of the leaf will shine, and dark paint will remain in the recesses. Now you can paste the resulting relief onto a sheet of colored cardboard.

Method 3.

Very simple and at the same time spectacular technique- print leaves on paper, onto which paint is previously applied. You can use any paint, just apply it to the side of the leaves where the veins appear.

Here are prints of rowan leaves. And any kid can draw rowan berries - they are made using cotton swab with red paint.

You can create a beautiful autumn design if you print leaves with white paint on a sheet of dark-colored cardboard. When the paint dries, you need to color the leaves with colored pencils. It will turn out beautiful if some leaves are left white.

The background can be left as is, or made colorful by painting with paints using a sponge. In this case, you need to leave a small unpainted space around the leaves.

If you decide to make the background colored, then the leaves themselves can be left white.

Method 4.

To add volume to your drawings, you can use the following interesting technology. You will need thin wrapping paper or white crepe paper.

1. Tear it into irregularly shaped pieces and stick it on a thick sheet of paper using PVA glue. Try to get more “folds” and “wrinkles”; they will later give the drawing texture and volume.

2. When the glue dries, using http://www.dltk-holidays.com/fall/images/bfallwreath.gif " target="_blank">stencil , draw and cut out three maple leaves (large, medium and small) from this paper.

3. Paint them with colors in autumn colors, then stick them on a sheet of black cardboard.

Method 6.

Another original autumn pattern, made in warm and cold colors. The leaves themselves are drawn in warm colors (yellow, red, orange), the background is in cold colors (green, blue, purple). To do this job you will need a compass.

1. Draw some leaves different shapes on paper.
2. Now, using a compass, draw a circle of small radius in the lower left corner of the piece of paper. Next, adding about 1 cm at a time, draw circles of larger and larger radius, as far as the compass allows.
3. Now do the same in the upper right corner.
4. Finally, color autumn leaves felt-tip pens or pencils in warm colors (the colors should alternate sequentially), and the background in cold colors.

Method 7.

Help your child draw on a piece of paper Maple Leaf. Divide it into sectors by veins. Let the child paint each sector of the leaf with some special pattern.

You can combine two methods.

Method 8.

Another unusual autumn pattern.

1. Draw leaves of different shapes on paper. They should occupy the entire sheet of paper, but not touch each other. Some of the leaves should start from the borders of the sheet of paper. Draw only the outlines of the leaves, without veins.
2. Now, using a simple pencil and a ruler, draw two lines from left to right and two from top to bottom. The lines should cross the leaves, dividing them into sectors.
3. Choose two colors for the background and two colors for the leaves. Color them in the chosen colors as in the picture.
4. When the paint has dried, trace the outlines of the leaves and the drawn lines with a gold marker.

Method 9.

To make this fall craft, you will need regular newspaper and paints (including white paint).

1. Draw a maple leaf on a piece of newspaper.

2. Paint it and, after the paint has dried, cut it out.

3. Take another sheet of newspaper and use white paint to draw and color a large square on it.

4. Place your sheet over the paint and wait for it to dry completely.

5. This is what you should get in the end!

Autumn is a romantic time of year. How beautiful are the golden trees, through which the sun smiles mysteriously, and tries to warm everyone once again with its dimmed rays.

Enjoying the arrival of autumn and how it brightly colors nature with new shades is very convenient in the park. Sometimes, walking along the alleys golden with leaves, you see a picture of how young artists are trying to convey the beauty environment on canvas.

Today our lesson is dedicated to the golden age. We will tell you step by step how to draw autumn and fill the drawing with gentle motifs of the autumn season.

To make the task easier, before you start thematic drawing, you need to clearly familiarize yourself with the theme of the drawing. Autumn pictures will help you with this famous artists, high-quality photographs of autumn landscapes, or Mother Nature herself, if the image of the drawing fell at just such a time.

Look carefully at the details (how the branches from which the leaves have already fallen are located, how gloomy the clouds are in the sky, what the yellowed grass looks like, etc.), try to feel the mood of nature in order to put it into your work and bring the picture to life.

Preparation period

And so we have a moral mood, we have become familiar with the fall, all that remains is to prepare directly for drawing.

During creative process We will use the following stationery items:

  • a sheet of A4 format or an easel (if close-up drawing is being done);
  • a simple pencil with a thin lead;
  • black pen or liner;
  • multi-colored pencils (the more shade, the better);
  • eraser for erasing unnecessary lines.

When equipping yourself with office supplies, pay attention to the quality of the product. Use a soft eraser; a hard one can damage the paper or leave a mark after erasing.

Once you have prepared the available equipment, you can begin to depict it step by step:

  • Lungs contour lines mark the locations of the main objects on the sheet autumn drawing- trees, fields, rivers;
  • Draw the trees, focusing on the powerful, half-naked branches. On coniferous trees mark leaves that have fallen from other trees;
  • Mark the grass under the trees and outline the foliage on it;
  • Outline the distant forest and mark the fields with light lines;
  • Draw the river and also the foliage on it.

For beginners please encloseThere is a schematic representation of nature.

The drawing of the autumn landscape is finished, but the painting is not yet complete.

The creative process requires rich imagination. To make the plot more interesting, add the outlines of crane keys, outline mushrooms under the oak tree, ducks on the water and 2 - 3 clouds in the sky.

The next stage is color design.

It's also good to use your imagination here, but don't experiment too much to make the image look realistic. To begin, use a black pen to draw the outlined lines.

When finished, erase the pencil with an eraser and begin coloring.

Use dark color tones to decorate tree branches and tables.

The following colors are suitable for decoration:

  • black;
  • brown;
  • grey;
  • and other colors available in stock.

Use bright light shades to depict foliage, river, sky and sun.

For coloring, use the following colors:

  • yellow;
  • red;
  • green;
  • orange;
  • blue.

Color the field and the shadow of the distant forest with gray color. Use a color palette to sketch small parts: mushrooms, grass, cranes.

For clear example We present you several options for nature landscapes. Pay attention to the play of color and the strength of the pattern, use them as an example when coloring the composition.

Now you know how to draw autumn step by step.
