  4. To cook a hard-boiled egg on high power (100%) is 40 seconds. Then let the food sit for 30 seconds, and only then remove the lid. If you find that the scrambled eggs are not cooked, leave the container for another 10 seconds.

Naturally, each kitchen unit has its own characteristics. And if your microwave oven has low power, simply increase the cooking time. Increase the time in 10-second increments. Do not forget that the cooking time may increase if it is made from several eggs.

How to cook in a plate

Some people wonder whether it is possible to cook scrambled eggs in the microwave without special molds and containers. Of course you can, an ordinary plate will do for this.

There is only one nuance here - the dishes must be greased with butter or sprinkled with vegetable oil. Then send it to the microwave for half a minute. And then break the egg onto it. Cooking time is 1-1.5 minutes. But again, each specific case is individual. If you like a hard-boiled egg, cook it longer, soft-boiled – less.
