After two years creative work he proceeds only to management, freeing up time for cooperation with the newly emerged radio station Kommersant FM.

Since 2011, he has only worked on radio. In 2013, cooperation was interrupted for four months due to Norkin’s project on Public Television, but in the summer he returned to the Kommersant publishing house. He also hosts programs on the stations “Echo of Moscow” and “Moscow Speaks”.

He tried to ridicule his opponent who was talking about the victims of the war in Donbass. Other filming participants also got involved in the fight. Subsequently, the TV channel apologized to Suvorov.

Personal life

The journalist first married in 1985, but this marriage broke up. Norkin met his current wife Yulia within the walls of the Radio 101 radio station in early 1992. A journalist by training, she came to get a job. A few months later, Andrei proposed to her, and the same year the lovers got married.

Andrei adopted 6-year-old Alexander, Yulia’s son from her first marriage, and in 1994 the couple had a daughter. The girl was named Alexandra. In 2002, they adopted a 7-year-old boy named Artem. Later, the family learned from the guardianship authorities that Artem’s parents also abandoned his brother Alexei, after which they accepted him too. According to Norkin, the fact of adoption was never hidden from the brothers.

The family lives in the capital in two-story house, for which Norkin pays a multi-year mortgage. Eight dogs and seven cats live with them. In an interview, the journalist admitted that the abundance of pets is his fault, since he once told the children that if they brought an animal home, they would not be able to throw it out into the street. The sons and daughter immediately took advantage of this.

The journalist's father lives in Israel. He once received treatment there and was pleased with the country. However, he did not immediately agree to change his place of residence: he left abroad after he turned 70 years old.
