Guf

Alexey Sergeevich Dolmatov. Born on September 23, 1979 in Moscow. Russian rapper performing under the pseudonym Guf. Member of the Centr group.

Father - Sergei Mikhailovich Dolmatov.

Sister - Olga Dolmatova.

Alexey's father left the family when he was 3 years old. His mother remarried, Alexey considers his stepfather to be his own father, he raised him as his own son.

Parents often went on business trips abroad for work, in particular to China. In this regard, in childhood, Dolmatov was raised by his grandmother, Tamara Konstantinovna. She took care of him until he was 12 years old and essentially became his second mother. Alexey has repeatedly said that his grandmother (now deceased - died of cardiac arrest in the fall of 2013) was the closest person to him. He remembered her love and care for the rest of his life and even reflected it in his work. In particular, the rapper’s songs “Gossip” and “Original Ba” are dedicated to his grandmother. Moreover, Tamara Konstantinovna took part in the recording of several of his songs. She became known as Original Ba XX.

Although the grandmother tried to look after her grandson, she could not do without the influence of the street. Already at the age of seven, Alexey tried marijuana for the first time. And this later affected his entire life.

I've been interested in rap since the fourth grade. He was into MC Hammer back then.

At the age of 12, because the grandmother could no longer cope with her grandson, who often skipped school, his parents took him to China. There he entered a local school and studied Chinese along the way. Russian students who studied there acted as tutors.

Guf graduated well from school in China and went to college there foreign languages in Shenyang. At the same time, I was left alone in China - my parents returned to Moscow.

In China he began to compose his first songs. Perhaps he would have remained in the Middle Kingdom, but drugs again interfered with his plans. He himself said: “I had serious plans and goals: to stay in China, to do business... But drugs completely deprived me of this opportunity, paralyzing and subjugating me.” By the way, at that moment his work was inextricably linked with drugs. At the same time, at some point he became interested in hard drugs - he tried heroin. The addiction intensified and he began taking it intravenously. “We injected ourselves, and I passed out. I came to my senses and saw: a pale friend was sitting, saying: “I barely pumped you out, you were in a coma for two hours, look at you, you’re all blue.” And at this time in the next room, Suspecting nothing, my grandmother watched TV. I can’t imagine what would have happened to her if I had died then,” Alexey recalled.

In China, he contacted drug dealers who supplied him with cannabis for sale. Guf said that his hostel was never empty - clients always came for a dose. Over time, the university management began to take a closer look at Gufu. And when the police finally became interested in him, Gufu had to literally flee China in 1998, where he spent 7 years.

Alexey Sergeevich Dolmatov (better known to the public under the pseudonym) “Guf” was born in Moscow on September 23, 1979. Russian and Jewish blood flows in his veins. As a child, Lesha was the most an ordinary guy. He, like everyone else, skipped classes, and also loved music and long walks around his hometown.

Now Guf's Twitter is popular in the blogosphere

However, already in the mid-eighties, drastic changes took place in his life. His parents left for China, and he himself followed them. The future is in the Celestial Empire famous rapper lived for several years. Over the years, he managed to make new friends, learn Chinese well, and also study at one of the Chinese universities.
But contradictory life The future musician very soon became bored with China. He missed Russia and very soon returned to Moscow, where he began to live with his grandmother. Bright character in ordinary life and creative life is grandmother Gufa Tamara Konstantinovna. Fans know her as Original Ba XX. The country recognized her thanks to the rapper's track "Gossip". But the composition “Original Ba”, which is included in the album “City of Roads” and in which Alexei’s grandmother even takes part, talks about the relationships between relatives and the character of Tamara Konstantinovna. Guf reads that “She can easily dance to Sean Paul for you.”
In Moscow, Dolmatov entered a new university and began recording his first tracks. Together with his then classmate Roman a.k.a. Marlin Guf recorded the composition “The Wall of China”, which, quite unexpectedly for everyone, ended up on some Moscow radio stations.

Since 2002, Guf has already been working on his own debut album. And his collaboration with Slim begins with the composition “Wedding”. By the way, at that time Slim was in the group “Smoke Screen”.
After this, there was some break in the performer’s work, caused by his studies at an economics university, as well as problems with drugs. As the rapper himself admits, for a long time he was a typical drug addict. Valuables disappeared from the apartment, periods of drug use were replaced by protracted withdrawal symptoms. However, Guf still managed to get rid of his addiction. One of the reasons for this was Alexey’s other passion – passion for music.

And at the age of 21, in 2000, Alexey already became a member of the Rolex-X group. He created it together with his classmates named Roman. He is known as Marlin. The name was based on the names of the band members. By the way, after participating in the Rolex-X project, Alexey Dolmatov became known as Guf.

Rapper Guf's career

At one point, Guf felt the need to move on and he, together with Princip, organized the group “CENTR”. This happened in 2004. Together with Princip, Guf released his first demo album. This group was created in 2004 by Alexey Dolmatov and his friend Nikolai Princip. At first the team included included only two performers, but subsequently grew to four (in addition to the above-mentioned Slim, the group also included rapper Ptah).
Together they recorded two successful albums and even managed to write two special compositions for the famous Russian film “ZHARA”. In the mid-2000s this project was very popular, but at some point everything began to fall apart on its own. Princip started having problems with the police, Guf got carried away solo work, and also third party projects. So, in particular, already in 2007, Guf presented to the public his debut “solo album” “City of Roads”, and some time later he recorded several successful tracks with the Rostov rapper Basta.
Despite the fact that already in the second half of the 2000s the group began to collect various prestigious awards one after another, in August 2009 our today's hero left the team. As noted in some interviews with performers, the reason for this decision was a quarrel between Guf on the one hand and Ptah and Slim on the other.
After leaving the group, Alexey Dolmatov created his own label ZM Nation, within which he began working on a new album. As a result, the second solo album was released in 2009. The album “At Home” immediately attracted the attention of listeners and became one of the main new releases over the course of several months.
Soon Guf was recognized as the best by the major Internet portal "Rep.ru" Russian performer at the end of the year. In addition, prizes in the category “ Best Album" And " Best clip" also received the album "At Home".
However solo successes did not force the talented native of Moscow to stop there. In 2010, he began work on the joint album “Basta/Guf”, on the creation of which his old friend worked with him. The recorded album was presented to the public in 2010. After this, the two successful rap artists performed together for a long time.
In the same 2010, Guf was recognized as artist of the year according to the Russian Street Awards. Just a year later, he also received the MUZ-TV award in the “Best Hip-Hop Project” category.

Rapper Guf broke up with his wife Isa

For a long time, the relationship within the couple was ideal. However, in mid-2013, reports appeared in the press that Guf and his wife were on the verge of divorce due to the fact that the rapper was taking drugs again. Moreover, in some sources you can also find information that Aiza has new friend– snowboarder Sergei Sterin. Guf himself is also allegedly dating a new girl named Lera Gusarova.
Subsequently, Guf's wife denied reports of her new romance.

Alexey Dolmatov lived in China for seven years. He had to leave this country because of his problems with drugs.

The area where Guf lived, where his grandmother now lives and which he repeatedly sang in songs, Alexey calls ZM, that is, Zamoskvorechye.
Guf was born on the same day as rapper ST (Alexander Stepanov). However, Alexander is 9 years younger than Alexey. Colleagues recorded 2 tracks together. One was called “Differently”, and the second “Article”. Later a video was shot for the first composition. By the way, both MCs burr.

Once he even starred in their video for the song “We Take It on the Streets.” And a member of the group, Kasta Shym, wrote the music for Guf’s “New Year’s” song. In addition, Guf took part in the recording of Casta’s track “New Step”. The song was released in 2010 on the album “XZ”.

The rapper's favorite performer is American Nas.

Guf or Guf is one of the most extraordinary and famous Russian rappers with a rather complicated biography, he was born on September 23, 1979 in one of the capital’s maternity hospitals.

Childhood

With him biological father, who was born and subsequently lived in Rostov-on-Don, the mother of Alexei Dolmatov (the artist’s real name) broke up even before the birth of his son. In fact, the boy learned about his very existence already in adolescence, during one of the serious scandals with his adoptive father about his behavior.

Lesha spent his early childhood in Moscow, mainly under the supervision of his grandmother, since his parents worked a lot and had almost no opportunity to raise their son. His grandmother doted on him, and the boy often abused this, skipping school and spending most of time with friends in the yard.

IN high school a surprise awaited him. The parents were assigned to China and soon took their son with them. There he spent a total of about 7 years. I graduated from school, managed to master Chinese quite well and even enroll in a local university. But it was there that he tried drugs for the first time and quickly became addicted to them.

According to strict Chinese laws, it was easy not only to go to prison for using and, especially, distributing drugs, but also to literally lose your life - some of the articles provide for the death penalty. Tired of fighting their son’s addiction and fearing for his future, his parents send him back to Moscow.

Career

Who knows how long Guf would have lasted in a drug haze if he had not become seriously interested in music. He tried writing rap as a teenager. Returning from China, he decided to record his first composition, “The Wall of China,” which somehow ended up in rotation on several Moscow radio stations and brought him fame in the capital.

Inspired by his first success, Alexey creates the duet Rollexx with his friend Roman and begins performing wherever possible. The guys are gradually gaining fame, their fees begin to grow steadily and they often become guests of large Moscow parties. The first success really turned their heads.

But here, against the backdrop of star fever that has overcome the guys, a destructive passion flares up with renewed vigor. And since in Moscow it is easy to get any drugs, and not just the light ones that Lesha dabbled in in China, for two long years he is completely immersed in a narcotic dope, taking away a fair amount of health and more than one year of life from his beloved grandmother.

Only in 2002 did he realize that all his dreams were rapidly going downhill and tried to quit. He begins to compose again and decides to create a solo album, in which the pseudonym Guf has already been used. But while the work was going on, he met other talented guys, and they tried to perform together.

In 2004, together with Princip, Guf opened new project"Center". He records several discs with his own money, copies of which were given to close friends at a New Year's party.

The discs are starting to be circulated, and guys are being invited to perform at prestigious clubs. A little later, two more members joined the group: Ptah and Slim’s, and with this composition the group even began to tour successfully. It would seem that everything is working out perfectly...

But now the problems with the law begin for the Principle. However, all members of the group continue to indulge in drugs, which periodically becomes the cause of scandals and even disruptions of some performances. Guf again begins to think about a solo project, and in 2009 he finally leaves the group.

In 2010 he presented his solo project ZM Nation. The debut album immediately soared to the top of the charts, but stayed there for only a few months. However, Guf was not too upset by this, since a new project was already being prepared for release.

Today he is one of the most popular artists rap and hip-hop, who has released 10 solo albums and took an active part in recording almost fifty more with other performers of these genres.

Personal life

Gufu was finally helped to give up drugs by his long-time love Aiza Vagapova, who set a categorical condition - she or “dope.” For the sake of his beloved, Guf went through severe withdrawal symptoms and began solo career. In 2008, she finally officially became his wife, and a year later the couple had an heir - little “Gufik,” as they jokingly call him.

With Aiza Vagapova

Until 2013, they were considered an ideal rapper couple, which is very rare. But later serious scandals began in the family, and their reason was that Guf began to use drugs again. However, there are other rumors that each of the spouses has new lovers. But before official divorce it hasn't come to fruition yet.

A friend had some adult friends who were a little “rich”, and it was with them that we tried weed for the first time. The fact is that I spent all my time outside. I skipped school and had something to do free time there was nothing, maybe that’s why drugs appeared in my life... At that time, my parents worked in China, and I lived with my grandmother in Moscow. But after learning that I missed two quarters, my mother took me to her place. In China, they hired me tutors - Russian students. I found them quickly enough common language: Around the 3rd lesson we were already smoking weed instead of studying. I came to Moscow for the holidays, and in the yard my friends were already sniffing some powders that were completely unknown to me before. And one day, quite predictably, I was also offered... it was heroin. The next day it was very bad... I felt depressed and defeated. I really didn't like it. I had serious plans and goals: to stay in China, to do business... But drugs completely deprived me of this opportunity, paralyzing and subjugating me. Two years later, I was sent to Russia on a charter cargo flight, because there was a “maz” that I would be sent to prison in China... THE FIRST FAILURE Returning to Russia, I did not understand a lot, and some took advantage of this. Drug addicts will always find money for a dose. Even if they have to ditch someone to do it. This is how my “friends” abandoned me one day. They just took the money for the check and disappeared. So I was left on the outskirts of the city alone among drug addicts. At that time, I still had money, and I offered to help me find the drug. We found it, and then for the first time I understood what intravenous heroin was... NO PROBLEM Heroin is a very insidious thing. It creates the illusion that you have no problems at all, completely blocking all sensations and feelings of reality. It begins to seem that everything is in trouble, that tomorrow I will be able to “resolve” any situation. But this is only an illusion!!! Tomorrow comes... and sometimes it doesn't. Many times I was between life and death... but I was lucky... I survived. Last time my friend barely pumped me out, and I didn’t even realize that I had almost said goodbye to my life. We shot up and I passed out. I come to my senses and see: a pale friend is sitting and says: “I barely pumped you out, you were in a coma for two hours, look at you, you’re all blue.” And at this time, in the next room, not suspecting anything, the grandmother was watching TV. I can’t imagine what would have happened to her if I had died then. OPERATION “PROCOCATION” When I felt really bad, I promised myself that I would definitely save money and go to bed for treatment. I was scared. I wanted to live, I understood that I was on the edge. I found out that there were groups for those with drug problems and started going to Narcotics Anonymous talks. I talked to people, it helped me... for six months. During these classes, we told each other how good it is to live without drugs... and, most importantly, it worked. I looked at people who were able to cope with addiction, and I also wanted to live differently... In the groups, for every month lived without drugs, they gave a “medal”. And I really wanted to get the “blue” one - six months of sober life. As soon as they gave it to me, I immediately called a friend: “Sanya, I have a blue one, you can smoke.” I broke down... I started using again, now even more... They even gave me a “provocation”. This is an operation after which it is impossible to use hard drugs. They said that you can only drink and smoke. And I thought: “Well, that’s great.” And he began to drink very violently and smoke kilos of hashish. On this basis, my roof began to slide. I was admitted to the hospital, reality was far away, but gradually I began to come to my senses. I even wrote a text about this period of my life and read it in the track “My Game” by Basta. I had a maximum of two weeks to stay in bed, but a new medicine was brought to the hospital, developed by the American space agency NASA. These pills were tested in third world countries. I was brought to straitjacket into the office, they sat me down at the table, and a delegation of doctors surrounded me. They placed a large folder in front of me, in which I put my signature next to the word “agree.” From that day on, I started taking huge tablets the size of half a finger. I felt even worse... I heard some voices... “Thanks” to drugs, I ended up in the hospital 5 times! This is no joke. The doctors said that my next race would be my last. THANK YOU LOVE They say that a drug addict will depend on something all his life... Now I am addicted to love. My girl, my beloved wife, saved me. When we met, she didn’t even know that I was a drug addict, and didn’t even guess. I fell asleep standing up, passed out playing the console. One day I was completely indecent and was hiding from her... She called me, cried and asked: “Tell me, Lesha, are you taking drugs? It’s important for me to know the truth.” I confessed, but she didn’t leave me. She locked us at home, took away our phones, “horrified” my friends, and spent five terrible days with me while I was breaking down. At the same time, she suffered with me and lost terribly weight... And I don’t know what was worse: unbearable pain or remorse... Many people want to know what withdrawal is. But I won't talk about it. This is very scary... Even in words... I don’t want anyone else to experience this. AWAKENING While there were drugs in my life, I ruined my health, frayed my parents’ nerves, spent a lot of their money... I’m glad that this is far in the past. My advice to everyone is to not get high. I sing about drugs in my songs not because it's cool, but because it's part of my life. And, as you might understand, not the best part of it. They say that no one who has taken opiates can promise that they will never be high again in their life. And I'm probably no exception. But, it seems to me, I understood the main thing: drugs are used by those who have an empty, gray and faceless life. Thank God, now I can’t say that about mine. We recently had a wedding. In the fall, the Center released a new album, and my solo album will be released a little later. We will tour a lot... And no more drugs! Dolmatov, Alexey Sergeevich (Guf) - Russian rapper, member of the group CENTR. In 3rd grade I started listening to rap. In the 5th grade I tried drugs (weed) for the first time. He often skipped classes, for which his parents took him to China. Subsequently he returned to Russia, but became addicted to heroin. Guf received treatment and began to lead healthy image life, and lasted six months. Help came in the form of his beloved girl Aiza, who locked Guf and herself in the apartment for 5 days. The first track that Guf recorded was “The Wall of China,” when he was 19 years old. This track was recorded together with Princip and was first performed on radio "2000". Then Guf had a creative break due to drugs, which lasted 2 years. Guf entered the hip-hop world in 2000 as part of the group “Rolex-X”, the name of which comes from the names of the project participants: Roma and Lyosha. It was after participating in the group that Guf became known as Rolex-X. Realizing the need to move on, Guf, together with Princip, created the Center group in 2004. With this lineup they released their first demo album called “Gift”. The circulation was only 13 copies, which were presented to the closest friends for the New Year. There is one more in Guf’s creative life bright character– his grandmother Tamara Konstantinovna, known to fans of Guf’s work as Original Ba two x. The whole country learned from the track “Gossip” that she was reading the newspaper “Life”. The song “Original Ba” tells about their relationship, about her character. “She can easily dance to Sean Paul for you,” Guf reads. Guf has two higher educations: economics and linguistics (Chinese). From 1991 to 1998, he lived with his parents in China and managed to study at a Chinese university, but had to leave because of drugs. Guf has often visited Rostov, so he is well acquainted with the Casta group. He even took part in the filming of a video for the song “We take it on the streets,” and a Caste member named Shym wrote the music for his “New Year’s.” Many of Guf's early songs are dedicated to drugs, and it was these songs that became his " business card "in the rap community, forming a new specific style. Guf used drugs, as he himself said, but has now completely given them up. Since 2002, Guf has been working on his debut album. In the same year, his collaboration with Slim, who at that time was a member of the Smoke Screen group, began with the song “Wedding”. In 2006, the song “Gossip” blew up the offices of the capital and other large cities - all summer, clerks sent each other an ironic “cart” about women in Russian show business. On the album “City of Roads” there is a song “Original ba”, dedicated to Guf’s grandmother, in which she even takes part. In the same year, Ren-TV filmed a video for the equally popular composition “New Year’s” for the documentary “DRUG USERS (drug addicts)” from the series “Project Reflection”. A feature with Smokey Moe “Traffic” was also recorded, which was included in the album “Air is Normal” (2008). In April 2007, the album “City of Roads” was released. Guf records a duet with Rostov rapper Basta - a song called “My Game”. In addition, the artist begins active concert activity. On October 25, 2007, the album “Swing” was released by the Group “CENTR”, of which he is a member. In the fall of 2008, CENTR won the “Best Rap Group” category at the RMA. On October 8, 2008, he married a girl named Aiza. Early years of life He grew up with his grandmother, his parents lived in China. Since 1991, he lived in China for 7 years; later, due to drug problems, he was forced to leave the country and return to Russia. The beginning of his creative career Guf entered the hip-hop world in 2000 as part of the group “Rolex-X”, the name of which comes from the names of the project participants: Roma and Lyosha. After leaving the group "CENTR" In August 2009, Guf left the group "CENTR" after a quarrel with other members of the group. He stated this in his interview. Despite this, following the obligations of the contract, in the fall of 2009 a video was shot for the song “Is it easy to be young” from the album “Ether is Normal”. Guf is filming for this video separately from the rest of the group. Guf creates a new label - “ZM Nation”. From September to December, solo albums of all members of the CENTR group are released. Guf’s solo album “At Home” was released on December 1, 2009. At the end of 2009, information appeared about a joint album with Basta, which should be released in September 2010. The dates change after each Guf/Basta interview; in September 2010, official information appears that the presentation of the album will take place on October 23. On May 5, 2010, Guf’s son was born. The young parents named the child Sami. On at the moment is recorded at Gazgolder Records, judging by the mention on the studio’s official website in the “Projects” column. On November 10, 2010, a joint album with Basta called Basta/Guf was released. The presentation took place on December 25. Conflicts Conflict with Slim In 2010, Slim released a response to Guf’s diss on the members of the group “CENTR” - “100 lines”. Slim shot an unofficial “Spice Baby” video, in which he parodies Guf, and is a response to the “One Hundred Lines” or “001” video. In the track, Slim accused Guf of stealing his minus and some of the things at home close friend both opponents (5 splash). In his video, Guf talked about the PR of Slim and Ptah and about his “noble” motives. Their dispute resulted in video responses on the Internet and humiliation of each other.
