The first night on the island we agreed on three things: not to form alliances, not to vote against each other, and to share information. One day, one of the people preparing the shooting dropped a packet of cookies into the water. Seeing this, Odintsov quietly picked up the cookies from the bottom and hid them in his shorts, and then slowly ate them, sharing them with the others. Sergei Tereshchenko lost the most weight during his stay on the island - by 30 kg. Vanya Lyubimenko lost 4 kg, Sergei Odintsov - 14 kg, Anya Modestova - 6 kg, but Inna Gomez managed to stay the same.

The fascinating show about survival on a desert island ended 17 years ago, so viewers managed to forget the characters of this television program. How did their destinies turn out and what are the heroes we were rooting for throughout the country doing now?

Sergey Odintsov

The winner of the show was customs officer from Kursk Sergei Odintsov, whom the audience chose as the last hero. After the victory, Sergei used the fame he received quite wisely and left the service, going into politics. Soon he became a deputy legislative assembly and I agree with him that the project completely changed his life.

In 2004, Sergei returned to film set and even took part in the fifth season of the project, but failed to reach the finals. Three years later, he again appeared on television cameras, but for a completely different reason. Sergei was involved in an accident in which a traffic police officer was seriously injured. After the investigation, Odintsova’s guilt was fully recognized, and the man received a year’s probation. Now the hero of the TV show lives in Nizhny Novgorod and opened own business.

Ivan Lyubimenko

The 19-year-old student from Volgograd captivated everyone with his restrained modesty and remained Odintsov’s main competitor until the very end. At the time of his participation in the project, Lyubimenko received higher education, but interrupted his studies for the sake of the show. Returning from the island, he continued his studies and became a successful financier. On this moment Ivan works as the managing director of a well-known bank and is responsible for the operation of an entire network of regional outlets.

According to Lyubimenko himself, the project changed a lot in him and gave him the opportunity to establish friendly relations with interesting people. Some project participants still communicate with each other and remember with nostalgia the time spent on the island.

Sergey Sakin

Sergei Sakin and Anna Modestova met during the casting and even got married on the island. Their relationship was honest, so many viewers worried about this couple. By coincidence, the young people ended up in different tribes, so they saw each other only during trials and could not spend much time together. After the wedding on the island, Sakin soon left the project, but they family life continued even after the end of the project. Anna gave birth to a son for Sergei, and they even had a gorgeous wedding outside of television cameras. However, family life did not last long, and the couple quickly separated. The reason for the breakup is said to be Sergei’s alcohol addiction, which he unsuccessfully struggled with for many years. In 2007, Sergei met a new passion, and he even had a daughter. Anna Modestova

After participating in the first season, the customs officer wisely used the funds he won, buying an apartment in his native Kursk. Soon Sergei left the service, becoming a deputy of the legislative assembly.

In 2004, Odintsov took part in the fifth season of the project, and as a result was able to advance quite far. However, victory then eluded the man.

Three years later, Sergei found himself at the epicenter criminal history: trying to overcome an obstacle on the road, he drove into the oncoming lane, and later accidentally knocked down a traffic police officer who was trying to stop him. Despite the fact that Odintsov admitted his guilt, he was sentenced to a year of probation.

Now the star of “The Last Hero” lives in Nizhny Novgorod, actively engaged in business.

“I am the director of one company. Divorced, now there is a second family,” Odintsov admitted in a conversation with StarHit.

According to Sergei, he is periodically recognized on the streets, but his former glory has practically disappeared. At the same time, Odintsov himself recalls the project with nostalgia. “If Channel One launched the show again, I would gladly become a participant. If they called me, of course,” the businessman admitted.

IVAN LYUBIMENKO

At the time of participation in the show, the modest student from Volgograd was only 18 years old. Ivan celebrated his 19th birthday on the Island.

Surprisingly, it was this slightly reserved young man who became the main favorite of the audience and the main competitor of Sergei Odintsov. After the end of the project, Lyubimenko continued to receive higher education.

After receiving his diploma, he made a fairly successful career in the financial sector.

“I work as a managing director in a very well-known bank in the sales department of the network divisions. I am engaged in sales development, responsible for efficient work regional network, I control 23 regions, 60 network points. I still remember “The Last Hero” with nostalgia. I think this is one of the best events in my life. I have no doubt that even without “The Last Hero” this period of life, and I was a second-year student, would have been bright, unforgettable and eventful. But a lot of good things happened because of the show. By the way, I communicate with many guys from the project: Anya Modestova, Inna Gomez and Sergei Odintsov. And there is also beautiful people who were involved in the creation of this show, and for long time cameramen, journalists, directors have become family to us,” Ivan told StarHit.

But the star of “The Last Hero” does not like to talk about his personal life, limiting himself to the phrase that he is happy and satisfied with his fate. Now Ivan is 36 years old, and, according to him, his popularity has long since faded, but this does not bother him at all. “I didn’t initially have a goal to become famous. Therefore, I am very glad that they stopped recognizing people on the streets. This happens extremely rarely and in such doses it does not cause any inconvenience,” said Lyubimenko.

SERGEY SAKIN

Sergei was remembered by many viewers for his romance with Anna Modestova. The lovers met before the project and went through the casting together. However, in the end they ended up in different tribes and saw each other only during trials.

Since Sakin and Modestova’s feelings were sincere, they got married right on the island, after which Sergei left the project. After the end of “The Last Hero,” the lovers had a lavish wedding, and in 2005 they even had a son, Alexey.

Despite sincere feelings towards each other, soon after the boy was born, Sergei and Anna broke up. In many ways, the reason for the breakup was alcohol addiction Sakina.

In 2007, the star of “The Last Hero” began a new relationship with a girl named Maria, who gave birth to his daughter. However, this time too, due to bad habits, Sergei destroyed his family. In one of the interviews, he admitted that after breaking up with his common-law wife, he lived on the street.

“It was rock bottom, the money almost stopped coming in, I realized that I was unpleasant to my daughter and Masha, and I left. The next few years passed in the fight against bad habits. During this time, Sergei managed to work on television, wrote several books, and then began actively promoting his friends, the rap group “25/17”.

On November 24, 2017, Sakin disappeared. As his friends reported, the man left the city of Myshkin, where he was staying with a friend, to Moscow, but never reached the capital. The search continued for six months, and in early May 2018, the body of one of the most prominent participants in the first season of “The Last Hero” was found.

“He was identified by his friend Alexander, with whom Sergei lived in Myshkin. It’s strange why Lisa Alert and the police couldn’t find him for a long time. As it turned out, his body was found near the town of Myshkin. Perhaps they were found when the snow melted, apparently. It’s psychologically difficult for parents, but they can be understood. Presumably non-violent death, possibly cardiac arrest. All this is preliminary; an autopsy and forensic examination will also be carried out,” said one of Sakin’s friends.

For fans of Sergei, the news of his death came as a complete surprise. According to fans, their favorite was killed bad habits, which destroyed not only his two families, but also Sakin’s health.

ANNA MODESTOVA

The modest primary school teacher could hardly have imagined that she would get so far in the show. The whole country watched her touching romance with Sergei Sakin. As it turned out, the feelings were not for the sake of PR, and therefore, soon after the end of “The Last Hero,” the couple signed and got married.

As mentioned above, even the birth of a common child did not save Sergei and Anna from divorce. In an interview with StarHit, the writer admitted that he was solely to blame for the breakup.

“It was impossible to live with me. I was selfish, a liar. He disappeared for weeks, explaining it as work, but in reality he was using and could not stop. Anya was a primary school teacher, she earned a little money, I published books and collaborated with TV. But there was not enough money. Anya couldn’t stand it, and we broke up,” said Sakin.

After breaking up with her husband, Anna completely disappeared from the radar. The girl does not maintain social networks and, according to rumors, has long found personal happiness. A couple of years ago, Modestova published a photo of her grown-up son Alexei from Sergei Sakin, but refrained from commenting on her relationship with her ex-husband.

When it became known that Sakin died suddenly, Modestova categorically refused to comment on the tragedy. Fans suggested that the death of her ex-husband was a real blow for Anna.

INNA GOMEZ

Perhaps it was Inna Gomez who managed to make the most a dizzying career after the project, which was not surprising. A girl with such a bright appearance and a rich modeling past simply could not remain unnoticed.

Thanks to her wisdom, Gomez reached almost the finale of “The Last Hero,” and after the end of the show she received dozens of lucrative offers. But not much is known about the model’s personal life. In 2002, Gomez had a daughter, Maria, but the relationship with the baby’s father did not work out. A few years later, Inna got married and gave birth to a second child.

Despite the burning interest from fans, the 48-year-old star of “The Last Hero” does not advertise his novels. Inna does not maintain social networks, and she is extremely reluctant to give interviews, only occasionally recalling her fabulous popularity in the 2000s.

NATALIA TEN

An active participant from Samara was able to reach almost the finals, although initially few people believed in her. Many viewers completely disliked Natalya because she did not hesitate to express her opinion.

"I signed up for acting courses to try myself in this profession again. Now I’m actively acting in TV series and films, mostly in episodes. The 42-year-old actress considers herself absolutely happy man, because she managed not only to find a calling, but also to meet ideal man. “I have been married for 15 years. You can say that “The Last Hero” introduced me to my lover, it just so happened. Of course, popularity has noticeably decreased since then. But people still write to me on social networks, telling me how they were rooting for me. This is very nice,” Natalya shared.

But the star of “The Last Hero” rarely communicates with other participants in the show. According to Natalya, for so many years they managed to maintain contact only with Anna Modestova and Inna Gomez.

SERGEY TERESCHENKO

Sergei Tereshchenko got involved in the legendary project almost by accident. Having learned what the show would be about, he frankly admitted that he did not want to participate in it. However, out of curiosity, the man still filled out the form and unexpectedly passed the casting.

Tereshchenko had a hard time on the show, and during the 15 days he was on the island, he lost about 20 kilograms. Other participants invariably called Sergei the kindest opponent of all. Sergei himself remembers the show with nostalgia.

“After the casting, Konstantin Ernst invited us all to his place. He immediately said that it would be difficult on the island, but after it even more serious trials awaited us. He joked that we would be like astronauts who had just flown to the Moon. And so it turned out. For a while we all became incredibly popular. I, as an actor, decided to take advantage of this. However, at first I was offered only small roles, and of the same type. It seemed that the directors were inviting me for one purpose: to find out what it was like on the island. Now I have changed a lot. During the project, I lost a fair amount of weight, from 120 kilograms to one hundred, but my body was still quite flabby. And then one day the director threatened me that if I didn’t clean up my act, he would cut my role. I started playing sports, actively lifting, and it paid off. I can safely say that I have changed not only in appearance, but also internally as a person,” said Sergei.

After a series of episodic roles, Sergei was still able to achieve success: in 2015, he got a big role in the TV series “CHOP”.

A charming security guard named Fedya captivated many spectators, as a result, Tereshchenko began to be recognized on the streets again. “The series “CHOP” was interesting in many ways because the role was comedic. I immediately liked the role. And you know, back in the days of “The Last Hero,” Inna Gomez said that I should act in comedies, like I’m very funny. After two seasons of the series, I decided to take a short break. Still, acting in a sitcom is very difficult, filming lasted 12-15 hours,” the actor shared.

Recently, Sergei faced a series of injuries, due to which he could not work normally, and even exercise in the gym was reduced to a minimum. Now the artist successfully plays in films, without forgetting about his sports hobbies.

43-year-old Tereshchenko can boast of a happy personal life: The man has been married for a long time and has two sons. “My wife and I have been married for ten years, and have known each other for more than twenty years. We are raising two boys. You know, I have repeatedly thought about returning to “The Last Hero.” I even dreamed that we would all be sent to the island with the same composition. And now I think that I would take part in the show, but as a host. It’s not all about Nagiyev on Channel One,” said Sergei.

ELENA KRAVCHENKO

Actress Elena Kravchenko did not stay on “The Last Hero” for very long: she was kicked out after the first vote. And all because of the too independent nature of the star, who does not want to put up with injustice on the island.

One way or another, Kravchenko did not grieve for long. It was already behind her successful training V theater school named after Shchukin, when in 2003 the girl received main role in the series "Lady Mayor".

Then there were reincarnations in “The Return of Mukhtar” and “The Hour of Volkov”. Recently, the actress has been playing one of the main roles in the popular TV series “Molodezhka”.

For many years now, the 51-year-old star has been happily married to famous TV presenter Mikhail Kozhukhov. The couple raises three children, invariably demonstrating a family idyll. The actress rarely remembers her failure at The Last Hero, because outside the project she was able to fully realize herself.

NADEZHDA SEMENOVA

Viewers disliked dentist Nadezhda Semenova almost immediately. The fact is that the star of “The Last Hero” skillfully weaved intrigues, trying to eliminate the most dangerous rivals.

Despite Semenova’s efforts, she never managed to reach the finals of the project. After dropping out, Natalya returned to work. She still works as a dentist, but now in her native Balashikha. Having achieved considerable success in her profession, a woman feels like a very happy person.

“Psychologically, The Last Hero had a great impact on me: I left my position as director and sold a stake in the business in a dental clinic in Moscow, and got a job as a dentist in my native Balashikha. After that, she completed the house, then got married a second time and joined the church with her husband. Now I’m happy with everything: I have a job I love, the temple is nearby, my mother is alive, my son and two daughters make my husband happy. We are raising three grandchildren, and I also have five godchildren. IN free time growing roses, riding alpine skiing, I enjoy life,” said Nadezhda.

According to the doctor, she does not communicate with other project participants because she does not see the need for it. But Nadezhda remembers life on the island with constant nostalgia, because not everyone has such adventures.

We all remember the “The Last Hero” project, which was sensational 16 years ago. I remember how I tried to get home from work as quickly as possible so that I could watch the next episode of this exciting reality show with my whole family.

In 2001, the reality show “The Last Hero” premiered. The participants had to survive day after day on a desert island, fighting for a prize of three million rubles (a colossal amount at that time!). New format, unprecedented intensity of passions, danger, risk, adrenaline, difficult human relationships...

It is not surprising that the project took off, instantly breaking all viewing records. The final season of “The Last Hero” was shown in 2009.
