No. I didn’t have such close friends. There were some acquaintances who somehow began to avoid me, but it’s good that these were not my friends. I'm lucky with my friends. They are wonderful.

Do you think it’s possible to avoid stardom while working in show business?

It seems to me that this does not concern me at all, because my upbringing will not allow me to do this. To become arrogant, to forget about your loved ones and friends. Never. Of course, this often applies specifically to people; it seems to them that they did everything themselves without help. This is a big mistake. I will never do that.

Do you write your own songs? Or is someone helping?

Yes. I write songs, and my dad also writes songs. We are composers. I also write lyrics for my songs in English and Russian and begin to make my own arrangements.

Could you tell me a little more about your dad? In my opinion, there was some interesting story about dad...

I’m always like, “Dad works with you,” and immediately everyone looks at me like that: “How does dad work with you?” In fact, there is absolutely nothing like that. My dad is a musician and, naturally, thanks to him I learned a lot, I started writing songs thanks to him, with his light hand. And he still helps me in my creativity, he tells me about many things, introduces me to musicians, and contributes to my development in music. I am very lucky that he is with me, because it seems to me that alone in show business I could have very much stumbled upon something so bad.

On complex obstacles... Show business is a business where you need to constantly vary... Does your mood influence your creativity in any way? In the mood for songwriting?

Yes. Directly the most direct. It's songwriting that I would say I'm a mood person. Every new day starts completely differently for me. I can wake up in a romantic mood, it depends on how I behave, how I talk, what I wear, where I go. And, naturally, what will I write a song about today?

- What kind of music do you like to listen to? Do you have any favorite performer?

Yes. Probably my favorite performer is the wonderful singer Alicia Keys. I am a very big fan of her work, specifically her songs and especially her lyrics. I'm absolutely listening different music, I don’t stick to one style, one genre. I love music precisely because it is so different and you can always be surprised when you listen new song.

Yes. I haven't had any unpleasant stories yet. Pah-pah-pah!

Yes. Many are suitable. But mostly they express that they really liked it and they would like to follow my work in the future, which is incredibly nice.

Also regarding creativity, many asked questions and asked when the video will be released, when the album will appear, is there any information, can you tell us secrets?

- What song is this?

The song is called "Howl at the Moon." This is my first single. We also shot a video for it, which you will also be able to see in the near future. I think that after the new year he will already be included in the rotation.

I think that it will appear on our website a little earlier, and we will be happy to see it. You yourself wrote “Howl at the Moon”, maybe there was some interesting story behind the song? The title is: “Howling at the Moon”, quite interesting.

I actually didn't know that anything would happen with this particular song because I wrote it as a passing track. I was just writing songs at that time, and there were a lot of them, and there was plenty to choose from. Over time, I began to make an arrangement for it and somehow everything began to work out. And the song became a leader. We decided that this should be the first song and we already had an idea of ​​what the video should be like, what the clip should be like. And then we decided...

Did you take part when the plot of the video was thought through, the script was developed, did you take part in the development of the script?

Yes. The wonderful director Bakhadyr Yuldashev worked with me, together we came up with a script, and it was incredibly interesting, because we ended up with such a mini-film. We discussed the details, edited it together and selected the images together. We worked very closely together. I think it turned out great.

Do you approach the process from start to finish, constantly monitoring it?

I love to participate in the process, everything related to creativity...

What were your impressions from filming the video?

The impressions are unforgettable. We spent quite a lot of time filming, 14 days in total. I visited a real desert, we went to the salt desert. This is an unforgettable experience because I have never been in such a wild place. There is nothing. There are no houses or people there. I'm used to big city, to this bustle, but here you are so alone with nature. I would like everyone to feel this feeling.

- Did any incidents happen on the set? I heard that something was happening after all...

Since our video’s plot is a little mystical, I trained specifically in the circus, I did acrobatics and I had to descend from a 10-meter height, a winch had to lower me. And we tried four times to raise and lower me and just at the words “Camera! The winch motor stopped and everything broke. I found myself at the top, and I was incredibly scared, because I am very afraid of heights. When they lifted me up, I knew that I had to do this, I looked only forward. When I lower my eyes, I feel dizzy, my legs are swollen, my heart is racing! All. And while I was hanging there, my whole life flashed before my eyes. It was actually very scary. But everything worked out. The winch was repaired. More precisely, they simply cut off this cable and lowered me down, and then everything had to be done manually. In fact, it’s probably even better, because it turned out much better. Everything turned out faster. My descent was faster...

Yes, maybe it was meant to be. We'll see later. Tell me, what audience would you like to work for in show business: Russia or maybe you have plans to reach a Western audience?

Since I write songs not only in Russian, but also in English, even initially I write in English. I would, of course, like my creativity to go beyond the borders of Russia; I would also like to embrace Europe. I think that I will soon release, after the first Russian album, a second English album.

It seems to me that in a few minutes we will be able to start making our surprise; in my opinion, everything is already ready for us. A couple more questions for now. As I understand it, now you have a lot of concerts, you perform somewhere, at some events. Which artists, show business luminaries do you communicate with, and do they give you any advice? Do you pay attention to the advice of artists who have been working for quite some time?

To be honest, now my communication is limited, because I devote a lot of time to work and music. That’s why I don’t meet much with friends or people in general. Everything goes into recording a new album and new singles. But, nevertheless, I communicated very well with the artists at the New Wave. I think that in the future we will even collaborate with such a wonderful artist as Dominic Joker. I think we'll do something together. I would really like to work together. I also maintain a warm relationship with Mika Newton. I also hope for some kind of joint work.

Yes, it was really hard. The excitement is always there, of course. You don't know what they will think, what they will say. Still scary. But it seems to me that any competition is a certain school and you can always look at others and show yourself. Of course, competitions give us self-confidence, because you look at and calculate your strength differently. After you participate in the competition. I know this for sure.

You say that you have no free time at all, but you still probably have weekends. This is how you relax?

I relax mainly by meeting with friends and family. I really love cinema. I regularly go to the cinema once a week, without fail. Especially when there is a lot interesting films, I'm a big fan of cinema.

Do you go to the cinema with your friends?

Yes, I mostly go to the movies with friends. But of course I’m also going home, I can, I rarely leave home to rest, mostly everything happens in Moscow.

Yes. But it also rarely works out. It’s only when you’re on vacation that you get to cook something for the family. Especially when grandma comes to visit, she can help.

I really love cooking for the family, although I very rarely eat it myself; I really love meat and potato pie. It takes quite a long time to do, so I spend the whole day for this. But it turns out very tasty.

Do you fall in love easily? Are you a loving person? A creative person, he is, in principle, amorous by nature; when he writes a song, he must fall in love with the subject of what he wants to talk about. How are you?

I really am probably an amorous person, but, probably, due to what I have already experienced in life, my head is always ahead of my heart. Because I always think that there may be some consequences and I have to restrain myself. I experience everything very much, emotionally through myself. Therefore, I try to treat everything carefully.

- Do you believe in omens?

In principle, in some, yes. Precisely those that have been tested by me.

- Which ones have been checked?

For example, there is a terrible omen when you go out and forget something. This happens to me all the time, and I constantly look in the mirror and stick my tongue out at myself. Because things have happened to me many times, at concerts a lot funny situations It was after I returned home that something fell on me at a concert, either a piece of jewelry or some kind of hairpin fell on me. But something always falls off.

- Do you have a talisman?

I have a cross, but I also have a cat talisman, a black cat, which always accompanies me, and on many occasions brings me good luck.

- Do you always take it with you to performances?

Not for performances, but just in life, I’m always with my cat.

I wanted to show you the ball I made.

We got such a wonderful ball with which we can decorate our Christmas tree. It's just the right color, red. Let's hang him.

It seems to me that there is no formula here. How can you say, teach me to be successful person? Of course, this is not possible. It depends on the internal state of a person, on his lifestyle, on his understanding of the world. That is, if you talented person and you work hard, it seems to me that this will never happen. I never thought that there is a certain path, going over your head, or something that you can achieve success. You need to be purposeful, work, work and work again. Then everything will definitely work out. This is probably my mini formula.

Why don't you tell me why you feel this way? interesting name Nyusha? As far as I remember, at the very beginning of the project, I think you were Anna. Again, this question was asked very often, and interestingly, many people ask: “Why Nyusha, what is this connected with?”

There is nothing like that here, Nyusha is Anna. This is a derivative name from Anna. My loved ones call me Anyuta, Nyusha, whatever you like. When I chose for myself stage name, I know that there are a lot of An, but not a single Nyusha. That's why we settled on Nyusha, because it's memorable and quite difficult name, that’s why she became Nyusha. In fact, I have always been Nyusha. My grandmother always called me that.

I would really like to celebrate the New Year with my family. I really love celebrating New Year with my family. But most likely, of course, on stage.

Yes, I think it's unlikely. I'll probably only be with my family for Christmas.

What songs would you like to make a video for? Now your first video “Howling at the Moon” will be released. And you still have songs.

Now we are deciding, it is still unknown, but in any case, I like it when the clip is interesting, there should not be a boring plot. Many people like to make videos simply showing the artist and the clip itself does not convey anything. Therefore, in my case, I hope that the clips will always be interesting.

For you, the main thing is that there is a real plot, like in a movie?

Not like in the movies, but to be logical chain to make it interesting to watch. I myself very often see clips on TV that I don’t want to watch, I want to switch.

There are annoying songs in such videos, you listen to them, they play everywhere, and you perceive the song, the clip is uninteresting, but the song is very good. For you, what is more important?

I would like both the video and the song to be interesting, if the video has a zest and you want to watch it again and again and find new sides to it. Something you don't notice at first. Then it's really interesting.

When did you start writing your first songs? Can you remember?

Yes, I remember the first song very well. I wrote it when I was eight years old. Moreover, it was an unusually complex song. I was studying with a piano teacher and he couldn't believe it because the song was in the blues style.

In Russian?

At that time I had not yet composed poetry or written. I wrote a melody. And in the language of the musicians, the text seemed to be fish.

Everyone seemed to like it.

Dad was also very surprised, because there was something so unusual.

Do you often use the Internet? Now there are many social networks, can I find you there?

I probably use the Internet more for work than for communication. I have my own block on mail.ru, I have a profile in Odnoklassniki and a profile in Contact. But there, unfortunately, I don’t communicate with fans, because I can’t devote so much time, so I mostly communicate with my friends.

Let's get back to creativity. What is the songwriting process like? It’s clear that it depends on the mood in the first place, but in general, a rhyme won’t just appear?

Indeed, everything is born because it just happens. It turns out that my songs are connected with some moment in my life and it is not always directly connected with me, for example, it can be connected with my loved one. Or with my friend. I can write a song seeing what's going on in her life. And this is some moment that concerns me, I understand how difficult it is for her. Or vice versa, how happy she is. I see and can write about it. Everything happens very unpredictably. I don’t sit down on purpose and have to write a song. I start playing and write a song. No, of course. It turns out that I can take the subway. I can have breakfast, I can wake up, some melody will play in my head, and then I write it down, because I’ve been dreaming about it all night. I can just sit in the cinema, watching some film, it can inspire me to do something, and then I just immediately write down the text that comes to my mind. I immediately write it down on my phone so I don’t forget.

And what about music?

With a melody, just in case, I carry a voice recorder with me so I can hum it. But sometimes it’s easy with melodies, a melody appears when I play the piano, and if the text comes first, then the melody, as a rule, is not forgotten. I wrote down the text in my phone, then I come home, as soon as I read the text, I remember what the melody was. Therefore, in this regard it is easier for me. Melodies mostly come either immediately with the lyrics or when I write and play.

When will the album appear?

Now we have just started recording the album, so it’s closer to spring.

Are there any songs ready?

This is a difficult process, because you want it to turn out good work, it is very difficult to find people who suit us. I can't decide what style I write songs in. Because one song is like this, one turns out a little differently and, accordingly, not every person can immediately make the correct arrangement. Therefore, you have to look for a specific team with which you would like to work in the future. There are probably five songs ready so far.

The five songs are all yours, did you write them yourself?

Yes. But in the future, I think there will be dad’s songs too. I'll write text on them

Will the album be entirely in Russian or in half?

I don’t know this yet, perhaps some English-speaking people will come in.

And who else would you like to sing with, I know with Dino MC-47 your duet was quite interesting. Who else would you like to perform with, sing a duet with, not necessarily ours, maybe foreign ones?

Since childhood I have had a dream. I really like the artist Janet Jackson. I would like to do a song together with her.

And from ours? Is there anyone?

From our artists? I would like to. Here at the competition " New wave“I met Mika Newton and our wonderful artist Polina Gagarina. I would like to make a trio. Just to compose a song for the three of us.

Of course, I am for live performance, but I have already encountered some situations when there is a concert and people lose their voices, people get very sick. Hard. And in this case, especially since you know that in Russia the main income is determined by touring, it’s hard for me to say that you can’t use a soundtrack at all, because we’re trying to move, we’re trying to do interesting show. And of course, when filming takes place, it’s hard to judge; I know that a talented person can always sing.

This is a twofold situation. Either a beautiful show, tricks, or a chamber setting.

It's a long workout, then in this case. What can happen, something unexpected can always happen. If you get sick and you have a very important concert, of course you can’t a whole hour sing with a sick voice, because by the end you will simply lose your voice. And you can lose him not just for a while, you can lose him altogether. And to avoid such situations, then, of course, I don’t want it to be illegal to use a phonogram. It seems to me that the energy is completely different for an artist when you have a whole team behind you.

Yes, you feel this power behind you, that all people are gathering.... Yes, it always does. In the future I would like to have my own group and redo concerts, or rather live concerts, performances, in other, say, arrangements. Well, in the West this has all been happening for so long. But in Russia there has not yet been such a practice. I know that such artists as Leonid Agutin also always perform live.

No, we now have enough artists who advocate live sound who can afford it. This is probably correct. Do any incidents or funny situations happen?

My life is full of adventures. I remember very well the moment when we performed in Krasnoyarsk. It was evening and it was raining heavily. There was a stadium there, well, that is, you had to go down to get closer to the spectators. And when it was raining, I don’t pay attention to anything during the performance, and the stairs were quite high, I started going down it, and literally on the first three steps I slipped and fell down. That is, I rolled down the stairs. Moreover, I sat down like this, the music was playing, I understood that something had happened. I raise my head and the audience laughs because it was actually very funny. But since I work live, I get up further and continue to sing. But it was very funny, because everyone had umbrellas, and when I fell, these umbrellas were shaking like that. That is, I realized that everyone was laughing...

What kind of self-control do you have to have in order to continue performing anyway? What does it mean to be a real artist - to stand up and, whether they laugh or not, continue to sing. This, in my opinion, is difficult to do. Do you have any New Year's dream? New Year's wish? What would you like to happen to you in the new year?

There is, of course, a desire. But it seems to me that wishes need to be made and cannot be talked about.

Maybe some kind of hidden dream?

I think it’s a dream too, anyway, I prefer not to tell my desires.

Until they come true?

Then they will definitely come true. The main thing is that they come true. What are your creative plans for next 2009? After all, the situation is difficult now, there is a crisis in the country.

Well, I would like to release more than one album. My task is to compose, of course, a large number of songs. Make people happy. I want to find my audience. I really appreciate people who respect my work. Of course, fans. Therefore, I would like to please them more and more every year.

Does anyone influence your work? You write songs yourself, but still, probably, someone else besides you should determine good song, bad song. I do not like. Not the arrangement to use.

Well yes, of course.

- Is the selection process difficult?

This is why I prefer to work in a team. Because, it seems to me, you can always make some mistake. And when you have trusted people with whom you already work, who know you well, know your creativity, know what you do better. In my case, of course, my dad helps me a lot. He feels that he is more suitable for me, feels what I need to do. Therefore, when some new event or song appears, we discuss it with the whole team. Also including arrangers, PR manager.

- Does a large team work with you?

Yes, quite big, about 8 people.

Every day, constantly, work is in full swing?

Yes, it seems to me that one head is good, but having many is even better.

Show business is a complicated thing, it’s very difficult to break through.

It seems to me that the biggest mistake of our performers is that they are trying to break through. Nobody says that I would like to convey my creativity to you, I want to show you what I do. And give a choice to the people who hear it. That is, whether they like it or not. Basically, our artists are trying to break through, that is, they are imposing their music, imposing their creativity. I think this is wrong, because people have a choice - to watch, listen or not.

Tell me, in order for anyone to hear the work of any artist, they must first make themselves known. This is probably what it is main principle many aspiring artists - to break through, to become the first as quickly as possible. There is a twofold situation here.

The main thing here is not that you get through. There are many options. You can submit your song to the radio, or take part in some competition. This is exactly what happened in my situation. I just showed in the first competition what I am capable of. And already, based on my capabilities, people seem to be looking to see if they will continue to follow my work.

Did you even think when you came to the casting at STS, many other artists came there, you see them, you are with them, when you came - what did you expect? Maybe there were some plans? This one will be eliminated, this one will reach the finals.

Of course, I looked and compared. I was just pleased to work in such an environment creative people. Everyone is very talented and everyone is different. Because music is not a sport, you can’t be the best. Each one is unique, each one has something of their own. That's when you really are a real artist, when you are different, when you have your own style. As in appearance, and in all your work, in your songs, everywhere. This is exactly what you will be recognized for.

What did you perform at the casting? Tell us how you should behave at the casting in order to be noticed? Here is a man who has the appearance, the voice, he sings great - but they didn’t take him.

It's not enough to just sing well. Nowadays there are quite a lot of people who practice and sing quite well. But you need to be a complete artist, you definitely need to have a twist.

Charisma.

Yes. Also choose some spectacular suit. Choose a composition in which you best reflect your self. That's exactly what I did at the casting. I dressed quite brightly and sang a Christina Aguilera song. For me at that moment it was one in which I could show myself. And she moved. In principle, this did not happen for long, in principle, about 15 seconds. And in these 15 seconds I had to show what I could do. Therefore, of course, it is very difficult to gather yourself for just these 15 seconds. Because, as a rule, it is very difficult at first, you are just starting. And in most cases, precisely at the moment when you are afraid, you are stopped and you do not have time to fully show. You should never leave for later what you can show in the first 3 seconds. Be sure to start with all possibilities. Because there are a lot of people and, naturally, it is very difficult for judges to select the right people. They can't always choose suitable people. Errors may occur.

Did they notice you right away? There were several tours there too?

There were two rounds. After the first one they told me to come for the second one. And after the second one they already said that I was passing.

Were you worried?

Yes, sure. I always get nervous before going on stage. But as soon as I go on stage, all the excitement goes away.

Of course, it's probably an unforgettable feeling.

When did you realize that this was it, the final and that you would probably win?

To be honest, I never thought that I would win. We had a lot of time to be close to each other. That is, we became very close friends, we had rehearsals every day. And there was not even time to think about who would win? I never looked around like that and thought - maybe he will win, or maybe he will. It was just always – I have to perform well, I have to do this and that. I have to get ready, I have to remember. That is, there was constant preparation for the performance. But, I think, precisely because the show did not run for three days, but for quite a long time, we had time to get used to it, to definitely master the stage. This is very important for a beginning artist. Because when you go to a place that is unfamiliar to you, it is very difficult. Especially the first performance was scary and crazy. And then, when you realize that this is already your native place, you know everything there, where everything is, where to go... We rehearsed on the day of the performance many times. That is, there was time to get used to the stage. This is very important point. And by the end, of course, it wasn’t like that. If at the beginning there was perhaps more of this kind of preparation specifically for the competition, then in the end it was just like one big good concert. That is, we all just wanted to perform well, and not take 1st or 2nd place.

Was there no competition? This is a competition, isn't it?

No, of course, I sometimes noticed such not very good looks in my direction. But it was precisely the situations when someone showed that he is a leader and that everyone else is worse - I did not notice this. In fact, it’s a human factor anyway, when you envy, I think it’s impossible to hide, it’s obvious from a person when there is black envy in him. It’s good that I didn’t notice this during the project.

Of your performances, which one do you remember most? I heard a lot about your performances... The numbers were staged very beautifully, there was ballet dancing. Which one did you like best?

As it turned out, Nyusha’s agreement to become a member of the jury of the “Success” project was influenced by the fact that her partner would be Philip Kirkorov, whom she calls a living legend.

Childhood star

“I was born into a family of musicians, but no one ever forced music on me,” the artist recalls. — I wrote my first song at the age of eight. I had one cherished dream and one great desire - to share my music with others. True, when I came to various castings, I heard both refusals and excuses - they say, I’m still small, but I didn’t give up, and still got into the show “STS Ignites a Superstar!” Participation in this project was very difficult, and every performance was a struggle with complexes and fears. And I am very grateful to those people who were there and literally strengthened me at the very beginning of this path. I think the main thing is to have your own style: it is important to show that you have talent and potential.

I have always strived to be not the second Britney Spears, but the first Nyusha!

A name that brings success

By the way, about the name. At the age of 17, Anya Shurochkina firmly decided for herself: a new name - new life! Since then, “Nyusha” has been indicated in the “name” column in the beauty’s passport.

“Nyusha is not a pseudonym, but my real name,” the singer emphasized. — There was a serious moment in my life when I realized that from the timid child I was from birth, I was becoming a different person - an artist. And I wanted to back it up with something meaningful. I realized that I definitely needed to overcome all my fears and complexes. And I will say that the name helped me a lot with this. Of course, Nyusha is a derivative of the name Anna. And if I ever want, I can change this name again to the previous one, including in my passport. But don't forget that the name Anna is the most common in the world. And at the age of 17, I wanted to be recognizable, unique, but at the same time leave Russian roots in my name. I wanted it to sound unusual and concise and easy to remember.

But, of course, it was not only her name that helped the girl reach heights in show business. Behind the fact that Nyusha is now at her best are years of hard work and incredible support from loved ones.
