We turn the container with barberry preparations upside down and cover them with a blanket until they cool, after which we put them away in the pantry or cellar for the winter.

Jam is undoubtedly a very tasty product, but sometimes you want something unusual, for example, homemade marmalade. In this form, barberry can be prepared for the winter only from very ripe berries, so that they have more pulp and at least a little sweetness. We take sugar in a 1:1 ratio. First, place the fruits in a saucepan, pour a little water into it to completely cover the berries, and cook for 5 minutes. Then pour the liquid from the pan; the resulting broth can be used to cook jelly or compote.

Grind the berries that have become soft through a sieve, simultaneously separating them from the seeds. If you want to preserve the substances that are in the peel in the product, it is better to then use a blender, scrolling the mass in it until it is completely crushed.
