To determine negativity and various magical effects on Tarot cards, it is best to use the Tarot of Shadows deck or any other dark deck. But if you use a universal deck, then you can use it, it will also show well all the negative aspects in a person’s life. It is advisable to use only the Major Arcana of the Tarot. And most importantly, a clearly formulated question. There are special layouts for identifying negative or magical effects or layouts for general diagnostics of a person.
If you are a beginner tarot reader and do not yet know how to accurately analyze cards, i.e. perceive their correct interpretation, and you are not sure whether you analyzed the situation correctly, then you should refrain from answering clients’ questions about the negative and magical effects on Tarot cards. For example, you saw damage that leads to death, you tell the person about it. But there is no damage there, you just, for example, misinterpreted the cards. By doing this, you will cause damage to the person’s psyche and the person will plunge into this, and thereby create a negative program for himself. If the card simply requires clarification (without possible negativity), then perhaps it is just a slight evil eye.
With the help of cards, you can determine not only the presence of negativity on a person, but you can also determine who caused this negativity.
By pulling out one card from the deck, a person who has a strong enough intuition can determine who created the negative program, but if there is a need for addition, then you can pull out an additional card. I don’t recommend pulling out more than one additional card, since the information with each card will become even more confusing for you.

Layout for identifying negativity and magical effects on Tarot cards
One of the easiest ways is to simply draw 3 cards. Quite often, this is simply enough if a person really has a negative program.
In general, the shorter the layout, the more informative it is, but this is my personal opinion.
1 – Possible damage. In this scenario, damage will be shown by the negative Major Arcanum.
2 – Possible evil eye. Here you will see whether the evil eye is present or not. If there is damage in the 1st position, then the 2nd position will show where this damage came from.
3 – The presence of enemies, enemies, those who can cause harm or have already done so.

Preparation
Before you start fortune telling, you need to purchase cards, prepare them and choose a time (fortune telling is best done on certain days). The accuracy of the prediction largely depends on this. You can guess at any other time, but then your diagnosis will be inaccurate.
